December

Two members of our family who have enjoyed having a full house during Covid are Madie and Morgan.  They have also become the best of friends and are frequently found snuggling on the bed napping together.  

Avery (6 years, 4 months) - Avery had a big first this month when she lost her first tooth!  It was lose for a few days before it came out and she alternated between fear of losing it and excitement with the tooth fairy coming to visit.  We were able to fit in some holiday fun with cookie decorating, virtual school holiday parties, experimenting with dry ice from a holiday gift, a family Christmas Eve workout and of course enjoying her new Christmas gifts!

Parker (9 years, 1 month) - Parker spend the month playing lots of baseball and enjoying time with friends.  He also has been loving his new go kart!

Carter (10 years, 7 months) - Carter was apparently too busy to take any pictures this month.  He also had lots of baseball going on and has been spending lots of time playing video games with friends.  

Siblings - The kids enjoyed looking for the Bethlehem Star this month.  It was amazing how bright it was!  The also got out some pre-holiday wiggles with a family hike, bootcamp class and lots of fun in the backyard.

Christmas

As with most holidays, Christmas was a little different this year but we were still able to fit in a lot of fun from holiday zoom calls with friends to mischief from our elves - Pickles and AJ.  

For Christmas Eve we went to Mimi's house where everyone was spoiled like normal and we enjoyed a wonderful meal.  After reading the Christmas Story we came home to put out milk and cookies for Santa and carrots and oats for the reindeer.  It must have worked because the kids woke up to quite the scene!  Parker's favorite gift was his go-kart, Carter's was a new iPad and Avery's was her Nintendo Switch.  The kids spent most of the day in Pajama's changing out of them in time for Mimi and Uncle Reid to come over for dinner and a round of Dirty Santa.
