Our sad news this month is that our dog, Madie passed away. Mom and dad got Madie right after we got married so she has been through a lot with us. The kids handled it ok - there were tears but they are glad she isn't in pain anymore. And while they are ready for a new dog now, we will probably pause on that for a bit until life calms down.
Avery (6 years, 8 months) - Avery spent time at the ball fields which she continues to tolerate but she would much rather be at home playing Roblox and running around with her friends.
Parker (9 years, 5 months) - April was a big baseball month for P. His slammers team fit in 2 tournaments and won the second one! Parker worked his way into calling the coin toss for one game because our coach always loses but Parker lost too! His rec team has been on a hot streak and he was super excited that his teachers came to watch him play in a game (and he won!). There was also a lot of school which we don't see much of but he did a puppet show in music class which we got to watch online and he loved.
Carter (10 years, 11 months) - April was all about the ball field for Carter with a Slammers tournament and lots of rec ball with his Reds team. He has been catching a lot for Rec which is a new challenge for him.
Siblings - April of course brought more sibling time at the ball fields. But the kids also snuck in a fun trip to the Monster Truck Rally with dad and the boys/mom did a 2k.
