Parker - All-star Baseball

Parker's Allstar team participated in the Sandlot tournament for Little League.  They came in second place in their District (to the other team from Smyrna) which earned them a trip to the NW Sectional Tournament where they placed second (to the other team from Smyrna).  They practiced/played every day but 2 for 30 days straight.  And had to drive to Cartersville for 5 days straight to play in the Sectional tournament.  It was a grueling schedule but they loved it and really bonded as a team.  Parker wasn't quite sure about playing more baseball when it started but he was so sad when it came to an end.  Thankfully his team was all so excited about the experience they decided to keep it going with a few additional tournaments and a few practices so the boys could keep spending time together.

Carter - All-star Baseball

Carter's all-star team competed in the District 2 tournament for 9-11 year old's.  But since only one team from that tournament makes the State tournament afterwards they also signed up for a travel tournament to get to play some more baseball.  Carter was the starting second baseman and continues to show growth in that position.  His team didn't win district (the other Smyrna team did) but he really enjoyed the all-star experience.
