October meant weekly golfing for dad and even a skeet shooting outing. One week even led to golf in 3 states with a work trip to Virginia, Lovett's Lionbackers Golf tournament and a weekend in Alabama with friends.
We also had some fun off the course celebrating Ashley's birthday and with a wine tasting fundraiser for JDRF.
Avery (9 years, 2 months) - October started with a bang with a trip to see the Jonas Brothers.
While mom and the boys were out of town, Avery and dad enjoyed a fun trip to watch a Braves playoff scrimmage and attended Smyrna's Birthday Celebration to see Wallflowers and Goo Goo Dolls.
Avery has been asking to dye her hair for a while with something more permanent than an at home option so she took a trip to the hair salon for some purple tips.
Otherwise Avery spent lots of time enjoying her friends...
Especially her time of the field with her soccer buddies!
There was also time for all the normal fun things like Dad's club, the dentist and having fun.

Parker (11 years, 11 months) - Parker's month was consumed by baseball but he did fit in some fun with friends.

But most of his month involved baseball. His rec team had a great regular season but unfortunately came up short in the playoffs. It was a fun experience for Parker as he got to play positions he normally doesn't get to like pitcher and short-stop.
His travel team also had a busy month playing every weekend in October. They had a great run and came home with a ton of hardware.
Carter (13 years, 5 months) - Carter wrapped up his Fall baseball season with his team making the semi-finals in his bracket for the Cobb County 14u League. He had a lot of fun playing rec ball again and really enjoyed seeing so many friends on the field. Wrestling started at the end of the month and he was very excited for his last year of the MS team.
