June

June went quick between summer fun, several trips, school and lots of baseball!

Avery (9 years, 10 months) - Avery enjoyed lots of time at the pool in June and lazy days running around with neighborhood friends.

Parker (12 years, 7 months) - Parker has become very interested in personal care these days and has been trying several new hair styles. The question is which holds up best under a baseball cap!

Carter (14 years, 1 month) - Carter decided to get a jump on high school by signing up for a summer history class. He fit a ton of work into 2-1/2 weeks and was definitely glad when the class was done! Otherwise he spent time playing wiffleball and baseball between studying.

Pop's Birthday at the Great Wolf Lodge

Post-baseball in Chattanooga, we made the quick trip to Lagrange, GA for a few days at the Great Wolf Lodge to celebrate Pop's 80th birthday. We were excited to meet up with the Burgess crew and Uncle Reid/Ginny as well! We took full advantage of all the activities at the lodge with too many games of bowling and lots of time of the ropes course. Carter and Dad drove back and forth each day to enjoy the fun but making sure Carter didn't miss school. Happy Birthday Pops. Can't wait to see where we celebrate next year!

Baseball in Chattanooga

Parker's baseball team chose Chattanooga for their annual travel tournament so we made a long weekend of it! Dad took Parker and Avery up early spending an afternoon at the aquarium. Mom and Carter joined them at the ball field on Friday afternoon for three days of baseball. We spent lots of quality time with Parker's team enjoying large group meals, photo ops and a walk to find the best ice cream which naturally turned into an opportunity to start a pick-up wiffle ball game. It is always a fun time with this group and we are sad it will be their last year together!
