February

Mom and dad had a super fun Tuna Tasting dinner to pre-celebrate Valentine's Day and mom's birthday. There were countless tasting courses of the 210lb bluefin tuna and I don't think we made it through half.

We also had a fun casino night at the gym and played some crazy rave bingo (sadly we didn't win at either).

Avery (10 years, 6 months) - Avery got a little culture in her life with a trip to see the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra accompany Harry Potter. She enjoyed one of her final Dad's Club breakfasts and finished up her basketball season. Go Sky!

Parker (13 years, 3 months) - Parker celebrated the end of wrestling with a fun team ice cream party. And he has now fully moved onto baseball season with Slammers and Dodgers. He celebrated Valentine's Day at school with his advisory. And he continues to work on his Boy Scout ranks completing community service hours.

Carter (14 years, 9 months) - Carter celebrated the end of his first high school wrestling season with a team banquet. Carter ended up earning a Varsity letter which brought dad to tears. He was also recognized for being a Mat Mentor (through his work with the Youth Program), commitment (one of 2 kids who made every event) and made the Coaches All-Academic Team. There wasn't much downtime as track season started in early February and baseball season is also back... go A's.

Coco Cay

Our final stop of the cruise was at Royal Caribbean's private island, CoCo Cay.  The water is a bit chilly in February but the kids braved the pool and the adults made it to the swim up bar. We made sure to get our obligatory group pictures (adults and kids in chronological order). There were lots of sports and games for when the water got too cold. It was a relaxing end to a fun week with wonderful friends!

Water Island

We stopped in St Thomas but since most of our group had been here before, we all decided to take the ferry across Crown Bay to Water Island, the smallest of the 4 US Virgin Islands. Water Island has under 200 residents but swells with visitors who want to enjoy the quiet beaches, relaxed vibe, Fort Segarra and beautiful views. We all rented golf carts to get us around the island and enjoyed exploring, eating fish tacos and hanging out on Honeymoon beach.

We even fit in a light hike!
