March

Adult fun in March included an all day BBQ class for dad (he has since been putting his skills to good use!). Mom played Mahjong, Dad napped from coaching too much baseball  and we celebrated Avery's school with a fun parent gala.

Avery (10 years, 7 months) - Avery is trying to stay focused on finishing 5th grade but she is ready for pool weather and summer break! She has gotten very into coding lately and loves to show us her new games on scratch.

Watch out Leprechauns!

Homework is terrible

Parker (13 years, 4 months) - Parker is playing rec baseball this season with a bunch of friends and past teammates. He is excited to hang out with this group and get lots of reps on the field! He had fun participating in the annual Little League parade. He also had fun off the field watching baseball with friends, going to Drew's Bat Mitzvah and hanging out with neighborhood buddies.

Carter (14 years, 10 months) - Carter is an Eagle Scout! He had his Eagle Board of Review this month and passed. He has worked so hard to get to this point and we are incredibly proud of him! He will continue to be active in scouts for a bit. He already earned a Bronze Palm but may do some more merit badges and has plans for a High Adventure Trip this summer. He also started baseball and track competition season... always keeping himself busy!

Siblings - The kids had fun adventures together to see the Savannah Bananas (Carter went with friends) and Avery talked Carter into going to the Titanic Exhibit with her!

House Renovation Fun

Not exactly fun while it's going on but it is fun now that it's done! We ended up doing quite a bit of recent home renovation that included gutting and reconfiguring the kitchen, removing a staircase to add an extra bathroom upstairs, adding two new closets for the kids and completely redoing all 3 kids bathrooms. This ended up leading to refinishing most of the downstairs hardwood floors and repainting the downstairs. Lots of dust and too many decisions later we are done (well minus the post-reno decorating). We are all glad to have it done!
