Summer season always promises the chance to slow down from the school year, but June was busy with lots of fun activities! Highlights included a visit from the Burgess family, lots of summer baseball for the boys and fun with friends.

Avery (10 years, 10 months) - Avery picked a new camp to try this year where she used Scratch to make designs and then she printed them onto t-shirts and bags. She has been into coding lately so this was a hit. But the highlight of her month was spending time with the Burgess family and having a cousin sleepover with Maple. Other fun included time with friends, lots of time at the ballpark watching the boys and a weekend as an only child including a trip to Six Flags with dad!

Parker (13 years, 7 months) - Parker stayed busy in June! His Slammers team was in full Summer mode, playing most weekends when weather permitted. He also played on the 14u Sabres allstar team with Carter often playing for both teams in the same weekend when game times didn't overlap. With good friends on both teams, he really enjoyed all the baseball!
Outside baseball, he participated in off-season wrestling practices several days a week, went to Wrestling Camp at University of West Georgia with the Lovett team, and developed a strong love of fishing going to local spots 4+ days a week!

Carter (15 years, 1 month) - Carter kept himself super busy in June! He made the summer all-star team for baseball with a bunch of friends, he went to off-season wrestling practices, there was a week of driver's ed, he went to wrestling camp with the Lovett team and started an elective summer class on AI. But most exciting for his parents, he got his first job as a camp counselor for Lovett's summer wrestling camp. Carter continues to enjoy working with kids and also volunteered with mom at Agape for their summer camp whenever his schedule permitted.
