Georgia Tech Football

We are about halfway through Tech's home games and it's been a fun and hot year.  The whole family went down to Tailgate for the Chick-fil-A kick-off game where Tech played Tennessee.  The kids got their faces painted, hung out with the cows and played lots of fun game.  Mom and dad enjoyed their first game at the new Mercedes-Benz stadium even if the outcome was a tough one.

We also took in a few other games at Bobby Dodd with various combinations of Holdens.  The pre-game festivities are a current huge hit with the boys especially the game truck (video games).  And the boys love hanging out with friends at the firetruck.

September at School

Avery had a good month at school and has been settling into her new routine.  We have had several opportunities to come visit her at school including Mom and Dad being Mystery Eaters and weekly chapel.  She loves playing outside and gets a huge kick out of seeing Addie and Finley at school (she now refers to them as her best friends).

Parker is loving school and all the amazing fun that comes with being in Kindergarten.  He has taken a strong interest in writing books and is making his own at home.  He is also doing quite well with his reading.  He loves most subjects but PE is always a favorite.  Art, music, science and the Ingen labs are also hits.  One fun activity this month was the class all brought Teddy Bears to school for some fun math and reading activities.  Blue Bear had a lot of fun.  The kids also made cute "About Me" books.

Carter has been enjoying school.  Second grade is definitely more work but he is enjoying it especially math and science.  The class did a project where they wrote an anthology of their life so far and presented it to the class.  Carter wrote about his birth, siblings and fun trips he has taken.  He is also doing Cub Scouts again this year enjoys hanging out with his Wolf Scout Troop.
