The adults had some fun at an annual 70s neighborhood party.  Mom went as a member of Yacht Rock and Colin was "More Cowbell".  

Avery (8 years, 3 months) - Avery wrapped up her soccer season.  She had a blast playing with her team and definitely improved from the last time she played.  She is still debating on if she wants to play soccer or softball in the Spring.

She celebrated Thanksgiving at school with Turkey socks and a lunch feast.

Avery and mom had some fun girls time at a couple of local Holiday craft shows and watching the boys at various sports.

Dad got his time as well with dad's club, mystery reader and a trip to Six Flags.  Avery wore her boots to get the height to be able to ride ALL the roller coasters.  She loved them all!

She also stayed busy cheering on USA in the World Cup, going to bike camp, preparing for her 5k and hanging with friends.  She definitely earned a few good naps!

Parker (11 years) - As it usually does, Parker's month consisted of some baseball fun.  His Fall rec team made it to the championship game but unfortunately they came up short by one run.  The boys and parents were so sad to see such a fun season end.  Go Murder Seahorses (they were really the Tide but the boys didn't think that was intimidating enough)!  He also played one more Slammers tournament before a well deserved break.

At school Parker had a fun experience playing trombone for a K class and he always love getting to play with friends.

Carter (12 years, 6 months) - Carter's cotillion class ended which we was generally happy about.  The time outside school with friends was fun.  But the coats, etiquette and dancing with girls weren't his favorites.  

Wrestling season was back in full swing with 2 meets a week.  Carter hasn't changed much in weight from last year but his technique is better and he is enjoying the time with friends.

He also had fun on a quick boy scout backpacking trip to Cloudland Canyon.  Carter finished his next rank and is now a First Class Scout.  

He also had a fun trip to the Botanical Gardens with his buddy Andre!

Siblings - The kids spent more time together than we have picture evidence of but they did have a fun trip to a Georgia Tech basketball game where they sat in the club section... unlimited popcorn and soda for the win!

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was a nice lowkey day with family and friends.  We started the day with our annual neighborhood flag football game... dads on one field, kids on the other and moms cheering them on.

We spent the afternoon watching sports and playing with neighbors before heading to Mimi's for dinner and games... hats encouraged.  Happy Thanksgiving!

Parker's Birthday

 Parker had many fun birthday celebrations this year spread over several weeks.  

After several years of pause, parents were able to return for in school birthday celebrations so mom and dad joined Parker for one last school lunch.  He was less than thrilled with our picture taking requests but we forced some fun on him.

We were able to celebrate with family as well including post-baseball lunch with Pops and Emme.

For his birthday, Parker had a joint birthday party with his neighbor/baseball buddy Reid at Spo-Cha.  They had a large group of baseball and KV friends for games, karaoke, pizza and cake,
