On Christmas Eve we went over to Mimi's for dinner and presents with Uncle Reid. Thankfully everyone made the good list and Santa visited us on Christmas Day. We then headed to Pops/Emme's for brunch before dinner back at home with Reid and Mimi. Avery was very excited for her Karaoke Machine, Parker is way to into his phone and Carter is overjoyed with his Gaming Computer.
Our Elves, Pickle, AJ and Claire (formally known as Ruby) were back this year to bring some holiday cheer and keep an eye on the kids. Waking up to find the elves is Avery's favorite holiday tradition.
For Carter and Uncle Reid's birthday, Mimi got them each a gift certificate to snorkel with the whale sharks at the Georgia Aquarium. It took a bit to find a date that worked for both but we finally made it happen.
We got to the aquarium a little early so the kids had time to see the exhibits before Carter's check-in time.
We made sure to take advantage of all the holiday fun we could squeeze in from the Smyrna Market Village lights to holiday attire, dinner in an igloo at Ponce City Market, holiday pop-up bars, Yacht Rock Holiday Spectacular and Hawaiian Friday Holiday lunch.
Sadly the kids aren't quite into seeing multiple Santa's anymore but we were able to sneak in some last minute family pictures when baseball was canceled and we made sure to visit the Phipps Santa and drop off our lists.
