Carter decided to play soccer this Spring with a few friends carried over from his Fall squad.  The team was far from the best skilled, but the kids had a lot of fun.  Carter's sportsmanship and effort were very impressive.  He played hard the whole season and most importantly, had fun!

Parker played on a team with a lot of the same kids from the Fall plus a few new friends.  Dad was head coach.  The kids had a blast together and have come a long way from the Fall.

This Week at School

Carter's highlight of the week was the Kindergarten Musical.  K and 1st Grade put on a performance of Too Much Noise.  Carter's class were horses and the whole performance was adorable.  The class also had a final play date with their 5th grade buddies.  The buddy program has been awesome for helping the younger kids acclimate to school and Carter has the sweetest buddy who even brought him a birthday present this week.  The week ended with a fun end of the year party for the class.  Only one week left!

This Week at School

Carter had his last full week of Kindergarten this week (two partial weeks left)!  Lovett celebrated with their end of the year chapel (Carter's favorite part was singing "Rise and Shine").  Lovett hosted a Relay for Life event Friday so the kids celebrated with a NUD day.  Academically, the class started a unit on telling time and had their final spelling assessment of the year.  Carter also brought home his Spring Spanish folder and Art portfolio.

Parker had Circus week at school and enjoyed bringing his Circus Ship book to share.  He enjoyed fun circus snacks and art work.

Avery had a fun week at school.  Now that she has hair her teachers have had fun sending her home in various hairstyles.  She won't let mom/dad fix her hair but she has no problems with her teachers.
