Holiday Fun

The holiday season means lots of special extra activities to enjoy and we definitely fit several in!  Mom and the kids enjoyed seeing A Christmas Carol at the Alliance Theater.

The ladies got to see the Atlanta Ballet's nutcracker.

Dad got to drive Avery, Parker and friends to see holiday lights.

We hit up the battery to visit Santa's post office and see Holiday Blooper with friends!

We made the big screen at dinner

And the parents hit up the battery for a special holiday show by Yacht Rock.

Quick Trip to Asheville

We had a quick turnaround the day after Christmas to head up to Asheville to see Grandma and Grandpa for a few days. Unfortunately the cold snap we had right before Christmas took out their water the day after we arrived so we had to head home early.  But we did get a chance to catch up with Rick and Laura and check out the pinball museum before heading back home.

Christmas

Christmas this year followed a similar pattern of past years.  The season started with lots of decorating including pulling out Uncle Reid's old snow village.

Our elves also came to visit and got into a little mischief which the kids love.

On Christmas Eve we went to Mimi's house for dinner, presents and festive attire.

Before heading home to get out the milk and cookies and hoping we were good enough to make Santa's list!

Thankfully the kids must have just squeaked by and we spent the morning opening gifts before heading to Pops and Emme's for lunch and more Christmas fun.

That evening we had a few neighbors and Mimi/Uncle Reid over for dinner and dirty Santa.

Before falling into bed exhausted but grateful for a wonderful Christmas!
