Pigeon Forge is known for its Alpine Coasters and views so we made sure to add a few stops to our itinerary. We tried out the longest Alpine Coaster in the area and also a night coaster.

Dollywood
Dollywood was the main reason for our trip so we made a full day of it. The kids weren't interested in the shows or water slides but we hit up all the roller coasters, enjoyed the park food, checked out all the Fall decorations and enjoyed the Dolly Experience. It was busy over the holiday weekend but thankfully we were able to fit everything in... including 2 trips for Cinnamon Bread!

Fall Break in Pigeon Forge
The boys have a few days off school for Fall break and one of those was a Digital Learning day for Avery so after a morning baseball game, we headed to Pigeon Forge for the weekend. Avery talked the boys into going to Dollywood since she had never been and they eventually gave in. We let each child pick an activity and we ended up with a few packed days of fun.
The kids have enjoyed the various dinner shows we have seen in PF during past trips so we picked a new one, Paula Dean's Lumberjack Feud. The show involved 2 teams of Lumberjacks competing in events. The kids were entertained, it wasn't too long and our lumberjack won!

Wedding Weekend in LA
Mom and dad had a high school friend getting married in LA and thankfully Mimi was able to watch the kids for a long weekend so we could go. We filled our days with sunshine and hit up all the hot spots in Pasadena including City Hall, Old Town, Huntington Library and Gardens and Easton Canyon. We logged around 20k steps a day which we needed to take care of all the yummy food we ate!
