Parker's Birthday

Amongst a busy November schedule, we were able to squeeze in a few opportunities to celebrate Parker's Golden birthday (13 on the 13th)! We had family birthday dinners at Hibachi and Mexican and lots of gifts to open at home. He was excited about all his gifts and is looking forward to celebrating with friends soon!

Halloween

The kids split up for Halloween this year which was fun for them but the sad end of an era for mom/dad. Parker dressed as a character from the movie Sandlot and went out with some friends from school.

Avery was King Bob from Mininons and went to the neighborhood party and trick or treating with them before tiring out and handing out candy for a bit.

Carter was a banana to go with a group Mininion costume. He hung out a party with mom/dad until the neighborhood teen gang left to trick or treat together.

And dad dressed up as some sort of Slavic meme which apparently was entertaining enough to earn them the group costume award.

Once everyone made it home, there was candy sorting, swapping and showing off before crawling into bed for school the next morning!

October

October was beautiful out and with not a drop of rain all month in Atlanta we spent plenty of time outside with baseball for the boys, tennis for mom and gold for dad. With a few trips, school conferences, multiple sport seasons and Halloween, it was a lot to juggle but we made it!

Avery (10 years, 2 months) - Avery has kept up her tennis lessons and is enjoying the low-key commitment. She continues to love signing up for all the things at school including dad's club and an optional 4H presentation she gave her class on Sullivan's Island.

Parker (12 years, 11 months) - October has mainly about baseball for Parker. He had travel tournaments 3 of 4 weekends and playoffs started for the rec team. He got in a ton of reps and continues to love playing baseball. His highlight of the month was likely pitching in the championship game during one of their tournaments. He went 4 innings giving up no hits, no runs and 1 walk. He also scored one of his team's 2 runs to win the game. Wrestling started mid-month which Parker has been loving but he is definitely ready for Fall Sports to end.

Carter (14 years, 5 months) - Fall rec baseball season was super fun with the boys playing on the same team. The Riverdogs made an improbable run late into the playoffs playing 7 games in 15 days an ultimately coming in 3rd place. They had a number of come from behind wins which were fun to watch. Despite some occasional sibling squabbles, the boys had a great time playing together. It was a fun season with a great group of families so we are sad it's over. But Carter is onto High School Wrestling this Winter and has been really enjoying it so far. The commitment is a substantial jump up from Middle School but he has been embracing it.

Fun trip to Fright Fest with the boys

Siblings - These was sibling baseball time overload this month. The boys were fun to watch and Avery was a great cheerleader. She and another sibling even dressed up in their brother's uniforms for twin day at school.
