Can you believe it????
Parker can't! But it's true... Parker is 4 months old! It's been a fun last four months but each month seems to be more fun. Parker is definitely growing up and displaying more personality. Here is what the littlest guy has been up to for the past month...
Parker has been working hard on packing on the pounds and is particularly proud of his double chin.
He also has just about mastered his head control, is bearing weight on feet, loves looking at light/mirrors, is smiling (particularly when you smile at him or during diaper changes) and has random bursts of coos.
He had been making great progress with his sleep schedule until the 4 month sleep regression hit.
He had worked up to 8-9 hours straight at night and usually 4 naps during the day. One would be long (~ 2 hrs) and the rest were 30-45 min. He has leveled out with his feeding and seems content taking 4 oz every 3 hours with a cluster feeding right before bed and when he wakes up at night.
Parker had his 4 months Dr appointment this week and everything went great despite the shots ;(
Here are his measurements:
Weight: 12lb 7oz (7th percentile)
Height: 24-1/2" (33rd percentile)
Head Circumference: 42-1/2 cm (55th percentile)
Dr. Matthews was very happy with Parker's progress. His growth is on a term baby curve which means he is putting on weight at the same rate as a baby born full term. He meets all the gross motor skills requirements for a full term baby as well. So despite accounting for prematurity for the first 2 years, Dr. Matthews said Parker was all caught up! We're so proud of the little guy!
Here are his official 4 month pictures.
Needless to say we are thrilled to pieces with the little guy and are loving watching him grow up!
