Happy New Year's

Happy New Year's everyone!  We had a nice family day which started with Georgia Tech's bowl game.  It was a bit of a nail biter...

But GT pulled out the win!  

That evening we pulled out the beads...

And hats...

And had the neighbors over for Smore's, Sparkling Cider and Sparklers!  We celebrated our own midnight around 8 o'clock before the boys hit the crib.  

They woke up early the next morning to play a while...

Before dad's favorite New Year's Day activity started... the Rose Bowl Parade.  Shockingly, Carter was more into it than dad was!  He called all the floats "pirate ships" and would yell loudly when a new one came.  He even started saluting when the marines came on.

Carter was devastated when the parade ended.  Fortunately there were Christmas presents to play with!  Happy New Year's!  2012 was an amazing year for our family and I can't wait to see what 2013 brings!
