The Holden boy's treated mom to a very special day for her birthday. It started with donuts for breakfast...
And then moved to a fun trip to the zoo.
Parker loved walking around the reptile house |
Carter set up a store at the Mole Rat Playground and sold cake and tickets to the other kids. |
Parker's pointer finger got a work out. He loved spotting the otters. |
And he adored the Pandas (he cried when we left to go chase after big brother). |
More pointing at the goats. |
His finger took a break to pet a few goats. |
Carter meanwhile did a quick pass of the goats and went straight to wait for the train. |
So then we rode the train... twice |
And the carousel! |
After the zoo, we had a picnic lunch in the backyard.
And had a great time on the swings. The boys loved pushing each other.
After naps, our neighbors came to play and Carter/Hailey built a bed for their baby doll.
That evening, Mimi watched the boys so we could enjoy an adult only dinner. It was great birthday. Thank you boys (all 3 of you)!
