Early March

Here are some pictures and details on what the boys have been up to this month so far.

Parker (16 months)
Parker seems to enjoy "talking" more these days.  He babbles a lot but he also will come up and tell you things with such conviction but 90% of the time they make no sense.  A few words he has added to his repertoire lately include: brother, Morgan, Madie.

He has been on a food strike lately and we can't seem to get him to eat much.  Fruit and Kale are always a hit but everything else is hit or miss.  He is still adjusting to his new daycare and cries whenever he is dropped off.  But he seems to have fun the rest of the day so hopefully he stops the morning cries soon!

In addition to his new tricks, he has a new game he loves.  He will run and sit on the front stairs and pat the seat next to him so you will sit down as well.  Then he shakes his head or waves his arms and expects you to imitate him.  He does this until he gets bored.  So he stands up and walks in a circle while you follow.  Then he sits down again and the process repeats.

Parker is developing into a very opinionated little guy and he is so fun to watch!

Here are some Parker pictures from the past few weeks.

He LOVES Kale
Parker has been very into trying on shoes lately... including mom's heals.
And brother's slippers
Playing in the kitchen
Parker has been very into reading books lately.
Such a happy baby!

Carter (2 years, 10 months)
Carter has a new love of creating strange words.  Our neighbor, Hailey, loves to call things nonsense words and Carter has picked it up.  He thinks it is hilarious to answer a normal question with a made up word.

He also has some new phrases he loves to say: "Put on your listening ears"; "That's important"; "Mom you got it wrong"; and "Silly girl" (to mom).  He has started calling dad "Daddy-o".

Here are some recent pictures of the crazy kid.
He made a cake for Juliana's birthday party (his new best friend at school).
Celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday.
He insisted on a picture before he would leave but he wasn't too sure about his whiskers
Carter has a daily case of bed head.  We just leave it alone half the time!
Brothers
Knock on wood... we are getting to a place where the boys will hang out and play together very content by themselves.  It's really nice.  This week Carter said he loved having a brother but Parksie was sad because he didn't have a brother.  We told Carter he was Parker's brother but Carter insisted he was just a boy and not a brother.

Here are some picture of the two in action:
Making music
Joy ride around the house
Bath time fun
Deep in diaper conversation
Loving on his brother!
