We had our 15 year High School Reunion this year. With a little one around (Avery), we weren't able to make all the events but we did take the family to the Friday night Homecoming game. The boys had a blast wandering around our old haunts, and the new additions at Lovett. They were particularly fascinated by the rooftop garden on the Middle School.
On a side note, we took the opportunity to talk to Carter about going to Kindergarten next year. Parker had a mini meltdown when he realized he wouldn't be at the same school at Carter. Sweet brother =(
Carter was very into the game, particularly his shaker. If he was tired of shaking it, he asked mom/dad to take over. The shaker had to be going at all times.
Avery enjoyed the game with dad for a while...
But was definitely ready to go after we got close to halftime. Carter and Parker insisted on staying for the Half-time show. Carter was very sweet and enjoyed watching the Homecoming court. He though the homecoming queen was "very beautiful".
It was nice to catch up with some old friends - as much as you can catch up while entertaining 3 children. And Lovett won the game. Go Lions!
