Eclipse

The U.S. experienced a total solar eclipse across the country from Oregon to Charleston on August 21.  It was a big deal with tons of news coverage, people making trips to watch and planning special events.  The boys had a special Eclipse NUD at school and the got to watch special coverage of the events.  Avery and mom watched in our neighborhood (really just mom because Avery wasn't interested).  And we all celebrated with special "eclipse" doughnuts from Krispy Kreme specially released to celebrate the event!
