Nashville Fun for Fall Break - Part 2

Since the kids were on Fall Break, we decided to stay in Nashville for an extra day after the wedding and check out some local kids activities.  Up first was the Science Adventure Center.  The boys enjoyed learning about Earthquakes, our solar system, and how the body works, while Avery wouldn't leave the toddler play area.  All three really enjoyed the 5-story indoor play structure as well.

Next we went to the Frist Art Center where the kids never left the children's art area.  Parker was in heaven and completed every project he could (he would have stayed hours longer if his siblings had his enthusiasm).  Avery loved the drawing options and Carter made a cool stop motion movie about a dog getting chased by a crocodile.

Last we hit up the Nashville Zoo.  The kids could have spent all day here.  They loved the animals but the activities like feeding Lorikeets and the playground were huge hits.  This zoo has been around for 20+ years, but looks to have just had a major renovation as all the exhibits and buildings felt brand new.  The animals had great areas with space and variety, but also the viewing areas were situated in ways that gave great access to all and was a fun walk for the morning. Unfortunately, we had to leave to make sure we returned to Atlanta at a decent hour.

No fear going down the pitch black three story slide (Dad was right behind her, but a little scared)

Such a fun day the kids all came home with new "pets"
