The Braves Game That Wasn't

Along with 1,000 of our Smyrna Little League friends, we bought tickets for a Braves game on what ended up being a drizzly Sunday afternoon.  With light rain on the forecast and the opportunity to show Avery her first game, we made it to the stadium in time to grab waffles from Waffle House right before the scheduled opening pitch (there is a Waffle House in the stadium).  Unfortunately the game never happened but we had fun hanging out with a large group of our neighborhood friends while we waited.  The rain actually cleared up right after the game was called so we then hung out at the battery for several hours.  So despite no actual game, it ended up being a super fun afternoon at the ballpark!
