We spent 4 nights at Alpine Hideaway in Pigeon Forge. It is a small RV campground tucked between 2 hills right on the edge of the city. There are a large number of permanent residents at the site and we enjoyed seeing their set ups. It was super quiet and dark at night which was great for sleeping! We were able to use the trolley system, cabs and walking to explore some of the city while eating dinner at the campground most nights. Our adventures included an alpine coaster, ziplines, go karts and Dixie Stampede. We also spent the 4th of July here and hiked up to the top of one of the hills by the campground which gave us amazing views of the fireworks from Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Sevierville, TN.
