February kept us busy with wrapping up winter activities, starting spring sports, mom's birthday, Valentine's Day and a big trip.
Mom's enjoying a fun "Fry"-day Party - we contributed homemade potato chips |
Avery (8 years, 6 months) - Avery had her school's annual Daddy/Daughter dance this month and she was thrilled. Avery went shopping to pick out a new dress to wear, loaded up on accessories and happily did her own make-up before meeting up with some friends for dinner before the dance. I don't think Avery actually danced with her dad but she did enjoy running around with her friends for a few hours and screaming to her favorite songs.

Repurposing mom's birthday present bow |
Parker (11 years, 3 months) - Parker wrapped up his basketball season with the Pelicans. He started the season excited to be with his friends but ended with actually enjoying the sport a little bit. He continues to enjoy shooting hoops in the driveway many evenings.

Class door for Black History month |
Carter (12 years, 9 months) - Carter had his wrestling team end-of-season party and he is sad that sport is over. He really enjoys the team and environment. He started track at school this month and is looking forward to doing something new. He is also back on the baseball field with his Spring travel schedule and making good progress with Boy Scouts.
Siblings - The boys have taught Avery to ride their dirt bikes and she loves afternoon rides with them around the block.
