While a short month, February is always a fun one with mom's birthday, Valentine's Day, winter break and the changing of sports seasons. We also fit in an adults night to Lovett's bi-annual auction and dinner with friends.
Avery (9 years, 6 months) - Avery wrapped up her Volleyball and Basketball seasons this month. She had fun with the girls on the volleyball team but not sure if this will be her sport as she definitely preferred basketball. She likes playing defense especially when she gets to guard a friend! Things are going well at school and she continues to enjoy her teacher and classmates.

Parker (12 years, 3 months) - Parker wrapped up wrestling and basketball seasons and really enjoyed both of them! He is planning to wrestle next year and has started recruiting friends to join him. Sadly, he has aged out of our church league basketball program so he has likely hung up his basketball shoes. This likely makes dad sadder than Parker as basketball was his favorite sport growing up and he has loved coaching it with the boys. But baseball season has already started back so no down time for Parker! Parker is also continuing with boy scouts making great progress toward his Eagle badge and enjoys spending time with friends whenever his extracurricular schedule allows.
Carter (13 years, 9 months) - Carter wrapped up wrestling and started track at school and baseball in Smyrna. He is looking forward to both sports as he gets to hang out with friends. Carter has also started doing lots of prep work for high school including starting his 4 year class plan, shadowing current students and applying for classes for next year. There is a lot of information but he is on top of all of it and excited to see what next year will bring.
Siblings - Sweet sibling sports pictures and even a few calm moments at home mean a sushi boat for celebration!
