August brought back to school routines and the start of some Fall activities but thankfully there were cooler temps and not too much school work.

Avery (11 years) - Avery turned double fingers this month! She celebrated with friends, making candles, swimming and eating pizza. She was excited about gifts of Joy Ride, a Travis Kelce shirt, all the Savannah Bananas merch and shopping at the mall. She enjoyed seeing family and spending the day doing her favorite things.
Avery has settled right into school. She has friends in every class and likes her teachers. She is learning about studying and time management but school has been manageable so far. She decided to join the chorus and band (playing flute).

Parker (13 years, 9 months) - Parker didn't get much of a baseball break but he is back at it for the Fall playing on 2 teams: Cobb Interleague 16u Might Mussels and Smyrna Slammers 14u. He is nervous about playing with older kids on the 16u team but excited to be back on the field with his brother and Coach Dad. Overall he is looking forward to hanging out with friends on the field!
He is also very happy to be back at school and spend time with school friends!
Carter (15 years, 3 months) - Carter ran his first 5k, joining dada and some friends for the Vining's Downhill. The race finishes at Lovett which makes it a little extra entertaining. Carter is playing baseball with Parker and a ton of friends this field and is looking forward to it. He is also glad to be back at school and get to spend time with his buddies. He has a strong course load this year so he is nervous about it but looking forward to the classes.
Siblings - The kids enjoyed some fun Braves games despite the team's struggle on the field.
