Labor Day in Colorado (Ft Collins)

We spent a few days in Ft Collins to spend time with the Burgess Family! We started out first day with breakfast and a trip to Colorado State (more college visits for Carter) before meeting up with the Burgess family. We went shopping in Old Town before grabbing lunch. Then the girls headed to Uncle Curtis' shop, Tribal Rites, to get their ears pierced (1st for Avery, 2nd for Maple). Avery has been interested in getting her pierced for a while but hasn't worked up the courage so this was the perfect opportunity. Both girls did great! We finished the day with a trip to New Belgium Brewery and dinner.

The next day we met up with the Burgess crew for a hike at Horsetooth Reservoir. It was very busy but Aunt Bailie was able to find a great option that had pretty views and took us down to a beach. After a refueling lunch, we headed a little North to do some horseback riding. It was a beautiful day and the kids all enjoyed their first trail riding experience! We made a pit stop at Odell Brewery before meeting back up for the Burgess family for dinner. It was a busy weekend but so fun!
Parker got his own flight at dinner
