Lot's of holiday and December fun!

Avery (11 years, 4 months) - December was fun for Avery with the start of basketball games (Go Sparks). She loves playing rec basketball and is fortunate to have a very sweet team for her final season. After working behind the seasons on a theater production during the Fall, Avery decided to give the stage a shot joining the Ensemble in Sound of Music Jr. She is nervously excited about the change but loving practice with the group. Avery and mom also fit in some holiday fun seeing the Nutcracker at the Fox. Avery enjoyed her first semester of Middle School but was ready for a few weeks off over the holidays.

Parker (14 years, 1 month) - Parker continued a strong wrestling season but had some fun with it getting to hang out with Smyrna friends during a meet with Campbell and helping Lovett win the annual Bear Brawl tournament (the boy's won it all 5 years of their MS wrestling careers). He was very excited to wrap up the Fall semester and enjoy a few weeks of downtime over the holidays.

Eighth Graders

Carter (15 years, 7 months) - The month started on a rough note for Carter dislocating his knee during a wrestling meet. He is unfortunately out 6-8 weeks which includes several out of town tournaments. Thankfully Lovett's trainer was right there when it happened so they were able to quickly get everything back in place which made a huge impact mitigating his pain. He started rehab work and is aiming to make it back for post-season tournaments in January. Academically, Carter had a great semester making honor roll while in several challenging classes. But the most exciting part was picking out his first car!

Siblings - We had a family date night to see Cirque du Solei. It has been several years since the kids saw a show and they definitely enjoyed it more bring older.
