It worked out well for us that Parker's travel baseball team's out of town tournament was in Mt Pleasant, SC this year so we were able to fit in a week at Sullivan's Island. We arrived a few days before most of the team and were able to fit in some Charleston fun including the Aquarium, Top Golf beach walks and lots of shopping.
The tournament was at Shipyard Park which was a beautiful facility. Thankfully we had several days of early games so we avoided the afternoon sun. The park also had a nice breeze many days and there were fans in the dugouts. The team played really well and also had a lot of fun off the field with beach days, team dinners and pool time.
