Carter decided he needed the perfect accessory for his present opening...
Happy Birthday to out little two-year old!
Carter had a blast opening his gifts! He loved his new cars...
and his bubble blower. Though he got a little confused and tried to blow bubbles into the blower ;)
Parker didn't want to nap either and had fun watching with Grandmama.
Carter wasn't going to waste his second birthday sitting in any one's lap so he set up his new tent in the living room...
And dove right in!
We decide to take a break from the presents and celebrate Carter's birthday with a celebratory muffin (since Carter wasn't eating on his birthday we didn't get a family cake moment).
Carter wasn't too excited about blowing out the candles so mom, dad and Parker stepped in.
After devouring the muffin, we put Parker down and headed down to the basement for a little play time. Carter took his birthday hat with him and got to playing. He started by setting up a really big play tent.
And moved onto some footballs.
And did a little planking ;)
Things got a little crazy so he and dad took a short breather.
But it didn't last long before things got crazy again. Carter showed us his dance moves.
Before creating a ball pit in Uncle Reid's papasan chair.
We tried to get him to run off some steam by running and jumping...
onto the dog bed. But Carter was wide awake. So we did a little more playing (pretending the bubble wand was a horse)...
Before taking a walk to calm the little guys down. Despite it's unfortunate start, we had a great birthday week with our adorable two year old and we can't wait to see what year 3 brings!
