4th of July - Lake Norman

After a quick nap in the car, we arrived at Lake Norman and the Dixon's house.  We quickly changed into our lake gear and jumped on the boat.  The boys had a great time checking out the boats.

It started sprinkling a bit so we quickly headed back to the house where the boys wasted no time checking out the playroom with sweet Hailey.

Carter created a game of jumping from the trampoline to the pillow sack. 

Carter put on a pre-dinner concert on the piano...

While Parker checked out the water table with Hailey.

After dinner, the kids created a fort by the hot tub before crashing for the night.

The adults took the boat out for a quick ride to check out the fire works.

And raced home before a torrential downpour started (check out the sideways rain in the picture). 

So we played around on the dock for a while..

Before running inside and having a crazy evening playing board games!  Happy 4th of July everyone.  We definitely fit in a fabulous day of family and friends into ours, hope you did too!
