We opted to stay at the hotel on property at Legoland. It was super close to the park, had fun themed rooms, offered nightly kids programming, had Lego characters for photo-ops, lots of lego activities, and the elevator has a disco ball and music that came on when it moved. When we checked in there was even a fun scavenger hunt in our room to unlock a treasure chest. The kids loved the giant pits of Legos that you could build or swim in. There were Lego building classes and a nightly dance party. Each night the hotel has a Lego building contest and Carter won on "pirate" night with a parrot wearing a pirate hat and was declared a true "Master Builder".
