March

March is always the month that kicks off the busy Spring season. In addition to Spring Break and kids' activities, dad was able to sneak in a quail hunting trip and we celebrated his birthday with a daddy/daughter dance and homemade cupcakes.

Avery made cupcakes for dad's birthday

Avery (7 years, 7 months) - Avery had a busy month at school with a ton of dress-up days which she loved and kept mom busy.  She has the sweetest class that she really enjoys.  Other school highlights this month included a field trip to the Cobb Safety Village and in-person visitors for lunch again.  Her school had a fun Boots & Belles "dance" (Daddy Daughter) where Avery got to wear her cowgirl best, eat too many sweets and party with her dad and school besties.  Avery also had her first softball games this month and she has enjoyed being back at it especially seeing so many friends at the field.  Dad took her and a buddy to watch a GT Softball game to celebrate the start of a fun season.

March wore Avery out

Parker (10 years, 4 months) - Parker had a busy baseball month with a few Slammers' tournaments and the start of rec season.  He has some good friends on his team this Spring and he is excited for all the baseball.  He has also been coming to Avery's practices when he can and really enjoys helping out.

Intently watching Avery's softball practice

Carter (11 years, 10 months) - Carter had a busy baseball month with a final Slammers 12u tournament and the start of rec season. It is his last season of Little League baseball which will definitely be a change!  He is on the Reds again with the same coaches from last season and it seems like a fun group of boys. He also fit in his Spring Band tournament where he continues to enjoy playing the Trombone.

Siblings - The kids spent time with each other passing between various activities.  They did have fun cheering each other on at the annual Smyrna Little League parade!
