Now onto the cake! But before there was any eating, Carter needed an outfit change into something more appropriate for the moment (tie, crown from Caitlyn and diaper cover!). Carter wasn't too sure what was going on when the singing began and everyone was looking at him.
Luckily mom was on hand to help blow out the candle.
Carter immediately got a little of the cake on his hand and he wasn't too sure what to make of it.

He asked mom what he was supposed to do.

Carter mulled over this new taste for a little while.
Before he quickly realized he kinda liked it!
He showed off his excitement with a big round of applause for the cake makers (aka Mom and Dad).
In no time, Carter was all over that cake.
And dad kept helping feed the sugar rush.
Carter loved the sugar and all the attention
Carter was having so much fun he would try feeding himself with both hands.
Needless to say, the cake was a SUCCESS!
And Carter made a good dent which meant...
There was cake everywhere! Hands, tie, legs, face, hair.... nothing was spared!
It was so much fun watching the little guy pig out for a little while. It made up for his unhappiness when he got a bath in the sink =) After all the cake Carter was in a sugar coma which meant saying goodbye to his pals and heading off for an early afternoon nap!
