He actually opened his first present earlier at the party from Cousin Samantha. It was a hit!
Carter did his best to help open gifts... 
But he was still pretty sleepy and overwhelmed by all the action, so mom did most of the heavy lifting. Carter didn't seem to care because he got a lot of fun things!
He even got a few personalized items like a poem from Grandpa and Grandma Holden and this cool Tribal Rights short from Uncle Curtis (if you need a Tattoo in Ft. Collins, CO look him up).
After all the presents were opened, Carter took a quick ride in his new wagon (he will be the coolest boy at the pool this summer!). 
Then we headed back outside to check out the water table for a little while before dinner.
