Carter's First Birthday Party

Sunday was Carter's first birthday party and mom and dad got an early start to the day to make sure everything got set up. We had the party at our neighborhood clubhouse. We made sure to have lots of food...lots of balloons...lots of pictures of Carter...including our favorites from each month...and lots of cupcakes decorated with our little man!We got in a quick family picturebefore the guests started arriving. Carter was excited to greet everyone!We were SO EXCITED to have so many friends and family come by to spend the day with us.

Grandma and Grandpa made the long trip from Wisconsin

B made it all the way from Colorado for the big event.
The Jones family all came down for the big day...even Cousin Samantha was able to make an appearance!And of course Uncle Reid was there as well.We had lots of family spend the special day with us. And we were lucky to have some special friends of mom and dad as well. Carter's pal Julian came (with his parents of course!) and the sweet little guy gave Carter the low down on turning 1 and how to handle the big cake picture!He had several other Lovett crew members in attendance as well as a wonderful group of Sigma Chi guys, wives and new babies!We feel very fortunate that everyone was able to make the time to spend Carter's first birthday with us!

Carter had a lot of fun at the party too! He loved playing with the balloons...And showing off his party hat...But the real fun was just about to start. That's right.... it's cake time!
