For our last day at Magic Kingdom, Avery pulled out one more Disney-perfect outfit.
We started the morning visiting Mickey the magician (the talking Mickey Mouse).
Mickey taught the kids to roar like a lion (Avery wasn't too sure).
Then we went to visit TinkerBell where Avery made a magical transformation into a fairy herself!
The boys were curious about a green crayon Tinker had. She showed them what it was for as she tried to give them green mustaches! |
We then headed to Fantasyland where we rode Dumbo...
And big kid Parker rode the Barnstormer roller coaster. He was this excited for the ride he said.
While Dad and Carter rode the Barnstormer and Avery slept, Parker asked to see some Disney friends so we met up with Goofy the Great and Snake-Charmer Donald. The rest of the family joined up to meet Daisy Fortuna the fortune teller and Minnie Magnifique.
The boys were in a great mood as we walked through Fantasyland and head to the Little Mermaid ride.
Where Avery passed out and slept through the whole ride.
After Small World, we grabbed lunch.
The boys headed to Tom Sawyer Island while the girls shopped (it was getting cool and some warmer clothes were in store). The island is always a hit with the boys. Highlights are the Barrel Bridge, tunnels, and Fort!We had a ride swap for Big Thunder Mountain so Dad and Carter took advantage of one more round on Carter's favorite ride.
We had a little time to spare before our afternoon so we headed back to Fantasyland to ride the carousel.
Still not strong enough to pull the sword |
And took a few family pictures in front of the castle.
Before heading to the hottest ticket in the Magic Kingdom, Anna and Elsa. We were lucky to get a FastPass here (Dad stayed up late a few months back to snag one) as the standby line was over 120mins. Carter was super nervous to see Anna but Parker was super excited.
Avery was just excited to see more Princesses.
Then we rode the Seven Dwarf's Mine Train, it was Mom and Dad's first time so the boys helped show us the ropes. Parker also was now just able to ride, he was so excited he skipped the entire line to the ride.
We then decided to take a quick trip back to the room to rest and change into warmer clothes. When we came back, Dad took one for the team and rode the Teacups with the boys. Note that when Dad does ride, he doesn't let the cups slowly turn. The boys all had a blast, one older man grabbed us as we walked off to commend the best spinning he had seen all day!
And Mom took a night ride on the Mine Train. The boys rode together in the front row!
Avery was exhausted at this point so she slept on Dad while we all had dinner at Beast's castle.
Carter was terrified of the trumpets and horns that announced the Beast was coming and jumped into Mom's lap with a death grip around her neck. He wouldn't sit in his chair alone for the rest of the meal.
After dinner we met the Beast and thanked him for a fabulous meal. Carter even agreed to join in.
We raced from dinner to main street to see the Electric Light Parade. The boys put up a fight to stay for the fireworks as well but Mom and Dad felt it was time to leave, Good thing we did because this is what they looked like when we got to the car.
We got back to our room to see that the lovies were enjoying Avery's toys.
And we all fell in bed. What a totally exhausting but fabulous trip!
