Dad was very excited this morning when he snapped this picture with his phone.
Over night, Carter had gotten his respiratory rate under control so they took him off the heater and started bottle feedings. Mom was able to come by later in the day and feed him for the first time.

He took his bottle feedings pretty well so the Pediatrician gave the 'ok' to increase the amounts and reduce his IV. He'll keep this up until the feedings are large enough to stop the IV. Then if the little guy's weight is good and he is tolerating the feedings, he can go home. We're hopeful that will just take a few more days but we're happy as long as he eventually comes home healthy!
