Parker... Day 5

Dad was in for a big surprise when he walked into Parker's room this morning. Parker was down a few wires! Overnight he had worked his IV out and the nurses weren't sure they could get it back in so the pediatrician gave the ok to leave it out. He was also doing well taking the bottle so they removed his feeding tube as well. So the only wires left are the ones monitoring his vital signs.

The pediatrician would still like to see him get his feedings up before he goes home. They have gone ahead and started the preparation for discharging him by scheduling a car seat test, giving him his vaccines, etc. So once he is ready to go, there won't be anything holding things up!

Hopefully the little guy gets and appetite so he can come home soon! Here are a few pics I took at the hospital today.
