Happy Birthday Caitlyn

Sunday afternoon we got to celebrate Caitlyn's first birthday. Caitlyn was Carter's first date and they have a standing date for Tech homecoming in 2028. So this was an important party! The whole family was excited to celebrate. Carter was also excited to try out all of Caitlyn's new toys!The highlight of the party was going to ride the Pink Pig. Mom use to do this every year as a child so it was fun to share the tradition with the boys.

Carter was super excited in line as he watched the pig go round and round. He also couldn't stop waiving to the life-size pink pig. He even used dad's belt to prop himself up as high as possible to get a better look.

That all stopped once we got inside the tent and came face to face with the pig. Little Carter got quite shy and snuggled with dad until the pig was gone.Once we got past the pig and were right by the ride, Carter got excited again.
He had fun on the ride. Parker enjoyed the movement of the train and slept the whole time. After the ride, we quickly checked out the gift shop where we realized that Parker was the same size as the stuffed pigs!
Unfortunately the party was now over =( Carter went to give Caitlyn a good-bye hug but she preferred a fist bump since it wasn't an official date.
