Our neighborhood hosts Santa each year so we made an appointment to take the boys. This was Carter's 3rd time meeting the big man this year so he knew the drill. Before we went, he decided to make a list of what he wanted so he didn't forget anything!
Then the boys put on their holiday best and we loaded up the stroller for the quick stroll to see Santa.
Carter hasn't been to sure of the man in red on the last two visits so we weren't sure how this one would go. Dad made sure to hold Carter tight and despite Carter waiving and saying "Bye-Bye" when we got to the front, he managed to pose for a quick picture.
We were about to get up when Santa decided he hadn't spent enough time with Carter yet. So dad and Carter sat on the bench to chat with Santa for a bit.
Carter seemed content so mom jumped in for one last family picture.
After Santa, we enjoyed some hot chocolate, apple cider and cookies before heading home. When we got home Carter had fun checking out his first Christmas gifts from Santa... a jingle bell necklace and some reindeer food. He remembered how well the reindeer food worked last year so he put it right by the door so we don't forget to spread it again!
I think this was our best Santa visit yet since the whole family was there! Merry Christmas everyone!
