With the rising diaper costs in the Holden House, we decided it was time that Carter got a job and earned his keep. Just Kidding ;) (for now at least!). Today was a half day at McKenney's and per tradition, a lot of employees bring their kids with them to the office. This was Carter's first year going, so he wanted to make a good impression. Luckily he had a sharp suit from Aunt Bailie that did the trick!
With his badge on and dad by his side, Carter was ready to take the corporate world by storm!
First stop of the day... the deli for breakfast.
After fueling up on bacon, eggs and OJ, it was time for business.
Or time to watch Elmo's World.
Carter did manage to do a little work by getting drawings for dad from the engineering department.
But Carter spent most of the day playing with the other kids. He must have had a great time because he passed out on the way home. Maybe we can look into making this a regular Friday outing!
