On the way to El Tigre, Carter saw a small animal sanctuary so when we got back from the hike we headed that way for the last tour of the day. Natuwa Sanctuary is hope to over a dozen sloths, 2 jaguars and a tapir. Natuwa is an animal sanctuary and rescue center focused on rescuing, rehabilitating and providing shelter for animals impacted by human activities. We enjoyed an hour guided tour learning about the background of the animals and Carter practiced some more photography with the Sloths. After the tour, we went to a local brewery for dinner.
Before we left for our final stop the next morning, mom and dad did the on-property zipline tour. We had such a great time! They do private group tours so it was just the two of us. We did 10 ziplines, a rappel, climb up a ficus tree, hanging bridge and mom got to do a tarzan swing. Several of the ziplines were super long across the valley outside the hotel restaurant and provided view all the way to the Pacific. After meeting the kids for breakfast, we were headed to Playa Concha to spend the last of our vacation at the beach.
