June

Avery (2 years, 10 months) - Avery continues to be the most opinionated Holden and definitely knows how to get her brothers to give her what she wants.  Avery had a few major milestones this month.  First, she saw her first movie in a theater this month, Cars 3 dressed in her Ariel costume.  She made it about halfway through before she started walking laps around the theater.  Next she got her nails painted for the first time.  Mom did it at home but she loved it and took letting the dry very seriously.  She also had a fun trip to mom's office where she attended a few meetings and updated mom's office decor.  Avery has perfected her face when you ask her to do something she doesn't want to do or she get called out for doing something wrong - squinty eyes, open mouth smile and a head tilt.  Avery continues to choose some amusing outfits to wear to school and always asks to have her pictures taken in them.  Finally, our favorite Avery quote this month is when Avery asks to be "Naked like a robot".  Bay Max is her favorite movie character and she is apparently inspired to look just like him.

Parker (5 years, 7 months) - Parker's favorite monthly activities were probably a toss up between Top Golf, Braves and Atlanta United.  He has really been into sports lately.  He also got to have a trip to mom's office where he made some jewelry.

Carter (7 years, 1 month) - Carter started the month with golf camp and loved it.  He even convinced dad to take him and his buddy, Carter, golfing again after a morning at camp.  He had a fun date with dad to see Captain Underpants movie, his favorite book series.  And he lost two more teeth so he has quite the gap in the front of his mouth.

Siblings - The boys got to go to an Atlanta United game with dad.  We all saw Cars 3.
Kids built lots of forts.  And they had a blast at Alex Gomez' birthday party where they did a Holden kid chain down the water slide.

June at Camp

Carter asked to go to summer camp where he could do "math, reading, writing, PE, science, art, music, recess and library".  "Just like school?" Dad said.  Carter replied "Yes but without Spanish".  So Carter enjoyed a month of camp at Schenck where he worked on his reading / writing mixed in with typical camp fun.  He had lots of fun, made some new friends and thoroughly impressed Mom and Dad with his work.  He also picked to take electives in Minecraft and Legos,

Parker loves summer camp and we can see why.  He had fun weekly field trips like bowling, movies, Tiny Town and Roller Skating.  Plus special visits like Karate, cooking, science club, reptiles and even Captain Jack Sparrow and Friday Splash Days.  He was so proud of all the fun art he made, he lined it up on the stairs to show it off like a "real gallery".  We love watching his enjoyment for learning!

Avery has enjoyed camp as well and based on the volume of pictures, blocks are her favorite.  And Splash Day, she loves to play with the water!
