January

January was a bit of a slower month after the rush of the Holiday's.  Thankfully the weather stayed decent for this time of year so this time of year so the kids were able to get outside.  All 3 did virtual school for a bit to help mitigate the post-holiday Covid risk so the house was busier than normal.

Avery (6 years, 5 months) - Avery decided she needed a new hair style so mom cut 8 inches off and she loves it.  She could probably use a professional "touch up" but Avery doesn't seem to care.  She was excited though because she got her 1st semester report card and her grades earned her 1/2 a dozen donuts at Krispy Kreme!  Otherwise Avery had lots of playtime with her friends this month and has become quite obsessed with playing Fortnite and Minecraft with the boys.

Parker (9 years, 2 months) - Parker's baseball team was back at it this month and enjoyed the weather cooperating for weekly Speed and Agility classes.

Parker's favorite vegetable is plain lettuce

Carter (10 years, 8 months) - Carter was also back in baseball full swing with 4 practices a week so thankfully he really enjoys it.  He survived his week of virtual school but was ready to get back into the classroom with his friends.

Siblings - We did fit in a few fun family activities this month including a trip to Six Flags where the kids rode a crazy upside down circle ride.  And a drive through Candy Rush, a fun holiday lights display.

New Years

We spent New Years with a few neighborhood friends for a fun lowkey evening of food, sparklers, dancing, games and general merriment!  It was a nice way to ring in the new year in mush of the way we spent the pat year - with family, at home and wearing sweatpants!
