Merry Christmas!

The kids slept in until around 8 on Christmas morning which meant everyone was well rested for the day ahead!  Thankfully Santa was there a bit before that and the kids were thrilled to see all the new goodies they got.  Mom and dad even got some amazing hand-made gifts from the kids too.

Then the family time began with a visit from Pops and Emme before the Jones family arrived.  The evening was spent grazing on a yummy food spread, enjoying time with family and playing a mean game of dirty Santa.  It was a wonderful day and we're thankful for everyone who shared it with us!  Happy Holiday's!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve started with church and a visit with the animals used in the family service at Peachtree Presbyterian followed by cookie decorating and lunch with Pops and Emme.

After naps, we went to Mimi's house for dinner and presents.  The kids were spoiled and dinner was great!  The boys' favorite gift was a hockey game and Avery's was princess diapers.  The night finished reading the story of baby Jesus before heading home to set out milk and cookies in hopes that Santa would make a visit to the Holden house!

Burgess Family Visit

We were all so excited that three of our favorite Burgess family members were able to come to our house for a pre-holiday visit.  Aunt Bailie brought cousin Wren and new cousin Maple to visit.  Avery attached herself to Maple and insisted on holding her at every moment possible.  The boys couldn't wait to show Wren all their toys.  We filled the trip with cousin playtime, preparations for Christmas and fun outings.  We can't wait for the next Burgess family visit!
