Carter had a great first month back at school. He really likes his teachers and the kids in his class. He continues to love math but has really taken to reading lately. Carter got his first locker for PE this year and is super proud that he has mastered the combination lock on it. And he now has a daily planner where he has to keep track of all his assignments which makes him feel very grown up. We got see some fun art Carter created at Parents' Night. For the selfie, the kids picked words to describe whats inside themselves and printed them on a self portrait.
Parker has been loving first grade and his cute class. He is getting use to his new routines with homework, reading bags, library books and more. Parker says he loves every class especially recess.
Avery has been having fun at school too! Her class has focused on learning their school routines this month along with fitting in some special activities. Avery loved making friendship fruit salad and friendship bracelets.
