December

December had some ups and downs as we had to put our Sweet Brie down.  She wasn't a demanding dog who loved nothing more than a good cuddle in your lap

On a fun note, mom and dad crossed one off the bucket list by seeing Elton John in concert. And fit in a fun night out dancing and playing games with friends.

Avery (4 years, 4 months) - Ended gymnastics this month and started up cheer leading for the winter.  She cheers for the basketball league her brothers play in.  And while she can't quite keep up her attention for the whole hour she is really enjoying it.  Avery is still in a mom-mood and likes to hang out with her all the time including reading books at night, going to the nail salon and helping brush mom's teeth in the morning.  She has fun at a Dance/Karaoke birthday party this month until she didn't win the floss contest (a dance move).  She and her buddy pouted about that one for awhile.

Parker (7 years, 1 month) - Parker also started winter sports with basketball and has been enjoying it.  He has a very sweet coach and is holding his own moving up to the 1st-2nd grade division.  His favorite activities are spending time outside with friends and riding around on the electric scooter he got for his birthday.

Carter (8 years, 7 months) - started the month playing in a local dodge ball tournament with a group of neighbors.  They made it to the semi-finals and had a lot of fun goofing off together.  He also started winter sports with both basketball and flag football.  He has really been enjoying football as he is quite good as one of the older kids on the team.  He has even turned down a few birthday parties so he didn't miss a game!

Siblings - the kids had several fun events this month including a trip to Six Flags where Parker was by far the most adventurous one doing every roller coaster he could find.

The kids also let their lovies in on some fun when they took then to a sleepover at Chick-fil-A.  Everyone had dinner and then the lovies spent the night.  The kids got letters and pictures the next morning showing the fun they had!

There was some more fun fit in between holiday events including a trip to Andretti's where the boys drove go-kats and we all played games.  The boys also did laser tag where Parker won the award for taking the most shots and tied for most points.

And there were lots of sports games, both organized and with the neighbors.  And we even had friends over for a dance party in the kitchen.
