October

October was super busy as it continues its trend as the busiest month of the year for the Holden's.  5 kids sports teams, dad's softball team and mom's tennis team meant there were plenty of sport activities to go around.  Mom's ALTA tennis team even made playoffs which was super exciting!

We also fit in some adult fun with birthday celebrations, a spooky escape room and a Trailer Park themed Murder Mystery party.  Mom got to play a pregnant housewife who was secretly married to her brother and dad with the security guard who had to lead the murder investigation.  Overall it was a super fun but exhausting month!

Avery (6 years, 2 months) - The most exciting news this month was that Avery is able to go to school in person 4 days a week.  She has a group of sweet friends from the neighborhood in her class and its been fun to seem them more in person!  Avery has taken well to the role of a baseball sister.  She enjoys helping the boys out and playing with the other team sisters.  When not at the fields she spent time with friends including her first away from home sleep over at EK's house.  Softball season is still going and the girls are playing real outs now.  Avery struggled with it at first but a hug from a brother always makes it easier.  And Avery was lucky to have Mimi around to take her to a fun Halloween party complete with a petting zoo!

Parker (8 years, 11 months) - October meant all the baseball for Parker.  He was able to fit in some fun with school friends but his free time was mainly baseball focused.  He had his first few tournaments with his Slammers team and is really enjoying the experience.  Coach dad has been having fun too.  Parker is also playing a key role on his rec team and pitched in every game this season.

Carter (10 years, 5 months) - Carter fit in lots of baseball this month including several tournaments with his Slammers team.  He is also enjoying rec ball and taking advantage of the backyard cage.

Siblings - The kids again spent lots of time cheering each other on at various sports fields.  And the boys and dad got to go watch a Braves playoff game inside the stadium - baseball park Dippin' Dots were a huge hit.
